Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"It’s a fast casual place that serves sandwiches and sambusas. I tried the sambusas. One chicken, one potato, and one cheese. They were delicious. The dough was fried perfectly, cheese was nice and melty. Try ‘em out!"
"Sambusa House is a hidden gem! Their handmade sambusas are packed with flavor, so many options from beef and chicken to lentil and even sweet pistachio. Everything is made fresh in-house, including the wraps and dough. The mendi sandwich and ful for breakfast are must-tries. Great spot for authentic Yemeni takeout!"
"I recently visited Sambusa House Restaurant and had an amazing experience! I ordered the meat sambusa and the meat gallaba, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The sambusa was crispy, flavorful, and packed with perfectly seasoned meat. The meat gallaba was tender, savory, and cooked to perfection — truly a standout dish. The food was fresh, the flavors were authentic, and the overall experience was excellent. I highly recommend Sambusa House to anyone looking for great food and great service! I’ll definitely be coming back."
"Loved the food but feels less homey than expected it. The flavors are great just missing salt maybe? Also on my bank it shows to transactions which normally indicates a tip, but for a takeaway service and I don’t know anyone that does tip since a sit down service was not provided. That was weird. I didn’t like that part. Otherwise, go for it and go try it"
"Amazing experience! I can’t even describe how great the food was. The flavors were incredible and everything tasted fresh and authentic. The tea being free was such a thoughtful touch, and the owners were genuinely kind and welcoming. You can really feel the care they put into both the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommend. This place is a gem!"
"Sambusa House is the best spot for sambusa during Ramadan! They offer a wide variety of sambusa flavors, and we decided to try the chicken, beef, and pistachio. We weren’t sure about the pistachio at first, but it turned out to be absolutely delicious. The customer service was outstanding—warm and welcoming. They even offered us a free sample of their Dubai chocolate sambusa, which was a delightful surprise. Though they just opened, they are already making a great impression with their quality and hospitality. Highly recommended!"
"It is an amazing place to eat authentic Yemeni fast food. I would suggest considering the prices, at least keep the old prices. I've noticed that prices keeps changing so quick"
"I tried the mendi wrap the first time there with lamb and let me tell you it was phenomenal! Huge, delicious and lots of tender succulent lamb. Do yourself a favor and try it! The second time I got the ful. It was pretty good, very flavorful, but I think that flat bread is the star of the show. Flaky, chewy, and delicious. The young men working there are great servers and they have a good sense of humor (see their videos), makes ya feel comfortable so ya wanna come back and eat there again. Just added pics of the chicken 65 wrap... Looks delicious! Wow! It was fresh and delicious just like everything else I've eaten here."
